I didn’t see the apology or the original tweets replies with my own eyes because by the time I saw the drama happening Finn had already deleted their account so all I saw was someone else’s tweet saying that they had apologized.
I’ve been in anime fandoms that are really toxic (read:bnha) and obey me twitter is definitely up there 😭 I’ve also heard that they’re called the most toxic fandom of all the otome games. I went through all that on twitter at like 3 in the morning and decided I had enough obey me twitter for the rest of my lifetime. I did see the screen caps posted on Twitter and I, personally, can see how it can be interpreted as sexual assault/r*pe but I also feel like it was blown out of context and I believe that the Devs didn’t really mean for it to be interpreted in that way?Īnyway, Mammon is my favorite and he’s already not that nicely treated in the game so, yeah, this kind of rubs me the wrong way and if the Devs DID purposely mean it to be in that context then.yikes. I’m not in the obey me fandom on twitter (went through a couple of posts once and that was enough for me to know to keep away) but I’m pretty proud of my lurking skills so.Īpparently this artist, Finn (they’re the one that made that “Roses are Red.Lucifer is gonna hang me from the ceiling” Error) DID say it was spicy but they already apologized as they didn’t mean it in that way, because Finn was being attacked by everyone in their comments, forcing them to delete their main account AND nsfw account.
